Ho Ho Ho...
It's a sweltering Christmas Day in suburban Melbourne, and the McDoonie family are keeping up the boozing, cheer and merrymaking… despite the dead woman's skeleton in the backyard.
In a world where women are taught to diffuse their anger to gain respect, “Merry Christmas, Bitches!" celebrates the women who speak up. This production is a yelp, a roar and a piss-yourself-laughing eruption. It gives voice to the stoic grandmothers, exhausted mums and meek aunts who make Christmas lunch happen, and lets us see what's really infuriating them.
